When is your birthday?

What first got you into music?
I started taking classic piano lessons at the age of 7. When I was 16, I became a lead singer for a girls' rock band and found singing. |

Who are some of your favorite artists?
Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Beyonce, Alicia Keys. I'm totally taken away by DIVAs. And Bob Marley. He's like a god. |

How do you write a song?
I write the lyrics first, then come up with the music that best complements them. If someone handed me a melody and asked me to write words to it, I could do that too. I think I'm more natural at tinkering with words than music, though. |

Why did you move to New York?
Because I love NY! It was my dream came true. NY is the only place where so many different cultures and music from every corner of the world converge together. NY is truly a magical place! |

What are you most conscious about when you are singing?
Releasing all MAI Love and all MAI Energy every time. |

What's the purpose of singing? What do you want to keep on singing about?
The purpose is to give my thanks to everyone and make them happy. I want to cheer people up, I want to give people reason to smile. I want to keep on sining about "One Big Love" that is the mother of all love including even the Love of Humankind! |
